The gap we cannot ignore

Since 2018, Together We Thrive has partnered with schools to ensure that vulnerable middle and high school students have the relationships, guidance, and support needed to remain engaged in school and successfully transition toward adulthood. Through certified Life Coaches embedded on Title I campuses, students receive consistent mentoring, social-emotional support, and practical life skills that help them overcome barriers and achieve academic success.

Graduation, however, marks the beginning of a new challenge. Many young adults leave high school with determination, talent, and, in some cases, an industry certification — yet still struggle to secure stable employment or independent living. Housing instability, unreliable transportation, limited professional networks, financial insecurity, and the absence of continued adult support often prevent capable young people from realizing their full potential.

Dallas ISD's 2024-25 data shows 2,695 graduates earned Industry-Based Certifications. But earning a credential alone does not guarantee employment. Barriers between certification and career persist — and the young adults who need support most are the ones least likely to find it on their own.

The Pathways Hub

Located in a renovated 5,166-square-foot campus in South Oak Cliff, the Pathways Hub extends Together We Thrive's continuum of care beyond high school. Rather than ending the Life Coach relationship at graduation, the Hub enables young adults to continue receiving guidance while preparing for long-term employment and self-sufficiency. Architectural plans are complete. Buildout is underway. Phase I opens September 2026.

The Hub is not a handoff. It is a continuation. When a TWT student walks across the graduation stage, their Life Coach walks with them into the Hub. Participants will have access to:

The Hub will serve Together We Thrive alumni and any young adults seeking a practical pathway to employment, economic mobility, and independent adulthood.

Where hope has an address

The Pathways Hub reflects Together We Thrive's belief that the support young people receive should not end with a high school diploma. By integrating workforce training, life coaching, academic support, and connections to housing and employment, we are creating a place where young adults can continue building the skills, confidence, and stability necessary to thrive.

Your investment will help transform the building into a permanent resource for South Oak Cliff, where young adults can prepare for meaningful careers, strengthen their independence, and remain connected to the trusted relationships that have supported them throughout their educational journey.

Together We Thrive Beyond: The Pathways Hub is where hope has an address — and where opportunity has a future.
